A 15 minute drive from SJC (San Jose Airport). Unsurpassed views
of the Valley. Wi-Fi and VOIP from your room. An atmosphere of
'home,' and a gourmet kitchen of your own. Flat screen TVs in every
room larger than you dare to invest in at home!
If you are staying at Beverley Heritage Hotel (Milpitas), Embassy
Suites (Milpitas), or any of the SJC-airport/downtown hotels
(Fairmont, Sainte Claire, De Anza Hotel) more than 5 nights/month --
and are looking for an alternative -- Highland is the property
for you!
Ed, the Proprietor, will take care of you. Forget something (razor,
shampoo, etc)? He has it for you. Alum Rock Park and all its
possibilities are right outside your door.
I seriously recommend this as an alternative to the STALE San
Jose/Milpitas/South Fremont hotel experience. You will NOT regret
it!

A 30 Minute Drive from San Jose Airport during Rush Hour!
If you are looking for a great home away from home this is it.
Spend the day at a meeting in Silicon Valley and top off the day in
the hills of San Jose watching the sun set. With Plasma TV
sets in each room and a new kitchen you may prefer this to your
own home. Check it out!

"Wonderful place to stay"
We stayed here for my
daughter's wedding. For three days my family had the whole house.
It was a wonderful place for us to gather. It is a beautiful
home with gorgeous views as well as nature trails close by. Ed is a
wonderful host. There is everything you need--much better than
a hotel. For 2 nights there were other guests staying in the
house and we all got along very well. Everyone has their own
bedroom with bathroom, but share the common areas. I highly
recommend Highland.

"Review from Newfel"
I relocated from the
London UK. I stayed in the Highland Inn for 3 weeks. All the
rooms are outstanding newly renovated bathrooms with huge plasma TV
Cable, Wi-Fi, and Blu-ray all included in the price of the room no
extra charge. The Kitchen is newly renovated as well with high
end equipment. When I came home at night it was nice to have
a corner of the fridge for me to have my groceries and be able to
fix something quick. The kitchen is accessible to all the
guests with all you need. Ed the Innkeeper is a very nice guy.
He lives downstairs so you tend to have the house for yourself.
After couple of days the house was like a second home for me.
I strongly recommend it for people on extended business trip or even
people vacationing in the region. This place is much better
than a four star hotel which charges you for everything.

"Home away from home"
Ed Buckley is like a
European innkeeper. As soon as you walk into the house you
are in for a treat! He has thought of everything. The rooms are
spacious and beautifully appointed. They were scrupulously clean! We
were thrilled with the office amenities, as we were with the
spectacular views. We look forward to our next visit.

"I HIGHLY recommend the
this place"
I have stayed here 3
times, tomorrow night will be my 4th. If you are looking for an
alternative to a corporate hotel in San Jose, this is it! Access
your own kitchen. Wonderful views of the valley. Feels like home. I
highly recommend the property for longer-term (4 days or more)
corporate or personal stays. Ed wants you to be comfortable; if you
forgot something, no worries, he has a spare. Walk in the amazing
Alum Rock Park, just outside your door. Seriously folks, this is a
nice alternative to a stuffy hotel.
